The Fiction Writers’ Guild conducts its 242nd session.

The Kashmir Fiction Writers’ Guild conducted its 242nd session on December 3, 2022, which was presided over by Prof. Shafiqa Parveen, a reputed author. Mr. Yousuf Jameel, a reputed Journalist was the chief guest for the occasion. In this session, three short stories in three languages were presented by three short story writers, viz., Wajida Tabasum,
(Urdu, Bei Los Lamhoun Ka Qurb) Mr. Rahim Rehbar (Kashmiri, Takhleeq) Ms. Ifra, a budding writer (Don’t You Fear the Rats)
Prof. Shafiqa highlighted the role of the Guild in promoting young writers and Yousuf Jameel, besides appreciating the writers and narrating a few anecdotes of his life.
The following members attended the session:

Yousuf Shaheen, Zubair Qureshi, Suhail Salim, Sofi Bashur, Mushtaque Barq, Dr. Shazada Salim, Mohi-ud-Din Reshi, Shakeel ur Rehman, Rehana Shajar, Talib Ahmad, and Zahid Zaffar
