Two security guards were killed after unknown gunmen attacked a cash van in Keller area of Shopian in south Kashmir on Monday.
Sources said that gunmen opened indiscriminate fire on the van at Poju Keller today afternoon, leaving two security guards wounded.

The injured bank guards were shifted to District Hospital where they succumbed.
Medical Superintendent District Hospital Shopian Dr Rasheed Para confirmed the deaths. The deceased were identified as Mushtaq Ahmad (30) of Anantnag and Tariq Ahmad (25) of Tumlehaal.
An official said that cash wasn’t looted from the van.
Government forces rushed to the spot and launched searches in the area after the incident, said an official.
