Boniyar, 24 Nov : In a remarkable collaboration, the Indian Army, alongside the NGO Aseem Foundation, has completed a transformative project introducing sustainable energy solutions to Gaggar Hill village, situated in Boniyar Tehsil near the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir.

This joint endeavor, organised by the Torna Battalion under the aegis of Pir Panjal Brigade, is set to enhance the lives of local residents by outfitting 16 households with solar lights and inverters.

Harnessing the potential of solar energy, this initiative not only meets the critical demand for reliable lighting but also champions environmental sustainability.

It symbolizes a pivotal moment for the inhabitants of these remote villages, ensuring access to essential services and uninterrupted 24/7 electricity supply.

This achievement serves as an exemplary model of collaboration between the Military and civilian organizations, uplifting communities in challenging regions, and fostering enduring progress and resilience.
