Srinagar, Oct 21 : A soldier allegedly committed suicide by hanging self in the summer capital, Srinagar on Friday.

Official sources told said that panic gripped BB cant in Srinagar when security force personnel found a soldier (name withheld) hanging from the ceiling of his room. “The soldier was immediately taken to a hospital where he was declared brought dead,” they said.

They said initial investigation revel that the soldier allegedly committed suicide. 

“It was not immediately clear why he took this extreme step,” they said, adding a case has been registered and investigation has been taken.
