Jammu and Kashmir Police on Friday seized 01 JCB and 06 tippers for illegal excavation & transportation of minerals in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.

A Police spokesperson said that during intervening night of 16/17-03-2023 Police Station Budgam during patrolling seized 01JCB and 06 tippers bearing Registration numbers JK01J-4308, JK04-5985, JK01M-8108, JK04A-5665, JK09-2954, JK04-6832 loaded with illegally excavated clay at Labertal Budgam.”
“The JCB operator and tipper drivers fled from the spot.Case FIR number 62/2023 under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Budgam and investigation taken up”, he said.
