SHOPIAN, NOVEMBER 28: A team of Revenue officials headed by Tehsildar Zainapora, today retrieved 10 kanals of Government land at tehsil Zainapora, here.
The land was retrieved during an anti-encroachment drive which is a part of the initiative of the District Administration to retrieve State, Kahcharai and Forest land across the district.
In this regard, the committees of concerned Officers and Magistrates have been constituted to make the drive a great success.
The District Magistrate (DM), Shopian, Sachin Kumar Vaishya has appealed to the people of the district to co-operate with the District Administration as the drive is purely meant for welfare of the general public and safeguarding public resources.
DM also asked the encroachers to withdraw encroachment from the State or Kahcharai land voluntarily so that Administration is not compelled to take any harsh step.
