 A 6th class student allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself to death at his house in Dano Kandi Marag village of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Tuesday afternoon.

A police official told the news agency that a 14-year-old boy (name withheld) of Dano Kandi Marag ended his life by hanging self at his home this afternoon.

He died on the spot, he said, adding that he was the student of class sixth.

A case under relevant sections of law has been registered and further investigation has been taken up, official said—(KNO)
