An amount of 15 lac 25 thousand rupees were missing from Post office Qazigund during the intervening night of 13th October. Although a case under FIR number 281/2020 U/s 457/480 was registered in Qazigund police Station but the post office officials tried their best that nobody should get whiff about the incident.
Tariq Yusuf tried to expose the case, one of the employees threatened and used the abusive language against him.
Meanwhile the employees who are working in the concerned Post office are M Yaseen, Fazil, Rafiqe and 2 others. It is pertinent to mention that if it is the case of the robbery and not usurping by any insider why are some employees trying to bury the case.
When contacted post office officials whether it is a case of theft or a usurping of money by any of the employees they said, “The enquiry has been initiated by the department and it is yet to complete” (CNS)
