The Jammu and Kashmir National League (JKNL) was established on 29th May 2016.The JKNL is a non-violent, secular, democratic and pluralistic political organization established to acquire political power in the Indian Administered Jammu and Kashmir State to attain the following goals:
1.Recognizing the need for internal sovereignty of Jammu and Kashmir State within lndian Union by:
(a) Supporting the Instrument of Accession of Jammu and Kashmir State with Indian Union with respect to defence, foreign affairs and communication signed by Maharaja Hari Singh on 26th October 1947, following the tribal raid in Kashmir from Northwestern Frontier Province on 22nd October1947;
(b) Upholding the constitutional relationship of Jammu and Kashmir State with Indian Union established through Article 370 and other relevant Articles enshrined in the Constitution of India in 1949;
(c) Upholding the provisions of “Delhi Agreement” between Pandit Jawaharlal and Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah on 24th July 1952;
(d)Upholding the decision of Jammu and Kashmir State Constituent Assembly to ratify the limited accession of Jammu and Kashmir State with Indian on 6th February 1954;
(e).Upholding the recommendations of Jammu and Kashmir State Constituent Assembly to abolish permit system for entry into the state territory, incorporate Article 35-A in the Constitution of India and the extension of Indian currency in Jammu and Kashmir State in 1954;
2.Demanding the restoration of all constitutional provisions of the Constitution of Jammu and Kashmir State, adopted by Jammu and Kashmir State Constituent Assembly on 17th November 1956 and after the concurrence of President of India implemented by Bakhshi Ghulam Mohammad Government on 26th January 1957.
3.Delimitation of Hindu majority Jammu region (Sambha, Kathua, Jammu and Udhampur districts), Buddhist majority Ladakh region (Leh district and Zanskar tehsil) and Muslim majority Kashmiristan region ( Kashmir Valley, Chenab Valley, Pirpanjal region, Kishenganga Valley and Suru-Shingo Valley) as three territorial divisions for holding a regional referendum in Jammu, Ladakh and Kashmiristan to put a popular stamp on the 1957-Constitution of Jammu and Kashmir;
4.Making of realignment of Line of Control to unify the Balti speaking Kargil region with Baltistan, Shina speaking Kishenganga Valley with Dardistan and Gujjari and Pahari speaking Pirpanjal region with Pakistan Administered Azad Kashmir;
5.Establishment of Srinagar as the permanent capital of Indian Protectorate of Jammu and Kashmir State;
6.Making Chenab Valley and Pirpanjal region as the two additional divisions of Kashmiristan;.
7.Creation of additional Parliamentary constituencies for Chenab Valley, Pirpanjal region, Kargil, Pulwama, Badgam and Kupwara;
8.Creation of additional Assembly constituencies, district, tehsil and community development block head quarters for larger and far-flung areas of Jammu and Kashmir State;
9.Establishment of Basin Development Authority for integrated development of all the drainage basins of Jammu and Kashmir State;
10.Promotion of Kashmiri, Pahari, Gujjari, Balti, Shina, Ladakhi, Dogri, Burushaski and Pashto languages of Jammu and Kashmir State;
11.Modernisation of Educational sector ofJammu and Kashmir State into a world class educational hub;
12.Updradation of health sector to provide world class health facilities to the patients of the High Asia in general and theJammu and Kashmir State in particular;
13.Development of highway, railway and airline communication links of Jammu and Kashmir State with Azad Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan,Tibet, Sinkiang and Hindustan;
14.Development of physical infrastructural facilities for the development of natural, scenic, animal and human resource base of Jammu and Kashmir State; and
15.Integration of the society and economy of Jammu and Kashmir State with the societies and economies of the world in general and the societies and economies of Eurasia in particular.
