Death toll rises 2057 with six new deaths

Srinagar April 18 : Jammu and Kashmir today reported 1526 fresh positive cases of COVID, biggest single day spike in six months, and six new deaths, taking the total tally cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 146692.
These cases include 547 from Jammu division and 979 from the Kashmir valley, as per the details provided in media bulletin by DIPR.
The details mentioned that Kashmir valley reports three new deaths, while Jammu division also reports three new deaths, taking the death toll to 2057 in Jammu and Kashmir.
Dividing the cases district wise, it mentioned that 520 cases were reported from Srinagar, 122 from Baramulla, 70 from Budgam, 76 from Pulwama, 23 from Kupwara, 50 from Anantnag, while Bandipora 44, Ganderbal 14, Kulgam 47, Shopian 13, Jammu 299, Udhampur 29, Rajouri 28, Doda 05, Kathua 51, Samba 20, Kishtwar 00, Poonch 03 Ramban 24 and Reasi 88.
Moreover, they said, 963 patients were discharged from from various hospitals including 541 from Jammu division and 422 from Kashmir division.
