18th Pulwama District Hockey Championship kickstarted; syed Noor-Ul-Haq District Sports Officer Pulwama was chief guest

Hockey Pulwama today kickstarted the 18th Pulwama District Hockey Championship under the aegis of Hockey J&K sponsored by Jammu & Kashmir Sports Council at Govt. High School Lajurah, Pulwama.

16 teams in Senior, Junior & Sub-Junior categories are participating in the championship. Good Will Institute of Education Ratnipora, Govt. High School Lajurah, Hanfia Public School Lajurah, Al Habeeb Public School Pulwama, Mehjoor Hockey Club Ratnipora, Govt. Senior Higher Secondary School Dadsara Tral played the matches in junior category today.

The final match was played between Al-Habeeb Public School & Good Will Public School Ratnipora in which Al Habeeb Scored 01 goal scored by captain Umar, Good Will Institute scored 02 goals, scored by Asrar & Mohammad Yahya and emerged as the winner.

Syed Noor Ul Haq District Sports Officer Pulwama was the chief guest at the occasion other dignitaries included Bashir Ahmad Manager Sports Stadium Pulwama, Syed Jameel Mustafa Senior Vice President Hockey J&K, Miss Asima Ali Vice president Hockey J&K/Hockey India, Sameer Ahmad Joint Secy. Kashmir Hockey J&K, senior Hockey Players Ali Mohammad Bhat, Head Master High School Lajurah. Medals, trophies & mementos were distributed among the guests, winners & runners up of the championship.
