20-Day Theatre-in-Education Workshop organised by National School of Drama, TIE Centre Srinagar takes off in Kargil!

KARGIL, Oct. 15,2025 : A 20-day Production-Oriented Theatre-in-Education Workshop commenced on 15th October 2025 at Govt. Middle School, Goma Minjee, Kargil (UT Ladakh), organised by the National School of Drama – T.I.E. Centre, Srinagar in collaboration with the Govt Middle school.


With 30 enthusiastic students (ages 10–12) participating, the workshop aims to educate through theatre pedagogy—enhancing creativity, confidence, and life skills.


The inaugural session saw warm welcomes from Mr. Salawodin Loan, Incharge Principal, and Mr. Ali Naqi (VEC), who presented traditional Khataks to the NSD faculty.
