Shifted to Hospital in Critical Condition.
A girl was sexually assaulted after abducted in Akhal area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Saturday i.e. 31st of October.
The girl (name withheld) , who is a resident of Pooniwah area in Kulgam had went to attend a weeding in the area when she was abducted by a group of youth and allegedly assaulted her after abduction.
After assaulting, they tried to murder her and later she was recovered by locals and shifted to hospital in an unconscious state.
Later she was referred to Srinagar hospital for advanced treatment in an extremely critical condition.
Two accused have been arrested in this connection and case FIR No: 116/2020, U/s 341,366, 376/511, 354, 323 IPC has been registered in.
The locals staged a massive demonstration demanding and blocked the roads demanding the culprit to be nabbed and punished with death penalty as soon as possible.
