21 shops sealed for violation in Anantnag

Authorities on Tuesday sealed at least 21 shops in Anantnag district for violation of restrictions imposed by district magistrate.

An official said that as a preventive measure to contain the spread if covid-19 and in order to ensure strict implementation of section 144 CRPC, twenty one shops operating in violation of restrictions imposed and notification issued by government regarding essential services and commodities have been sealed.

He said that these shops were sealed by district police Anantnag and Municipal council Anantnag.

Administration has been constantly making announcements, appealing people not to come out of their houses unnecessarily and adhere to the health guidelines.
