227 fresh covid-19 cases, 3 deaths reported in JK

Jammu and Kashmir reported 227 fresh covid-19 cases while three more persons succumbed to the virus during the last 24 hours, officials said on Thursday.

They said among fresh infections, 95 from Jammu Division and 132 from Kashmir Valley, taking the overall case count to 120971.

Giving district wise details, the officials told that Srinagar reported 51 cases, Baramulla 16, Budgam 11, Kupwara 12, Pulwama 19, Anantnag 10, Bandipora 2, Ganderbal 7, Kulgam 4, Shopian 0, Jammu 70, Udhampur 3, Rajouri 5, Doda 1, Kathua 10, Kishtwar 1, Samba 3, Poonch 1, Ramban 1 and Reasi 0.

Regarding the deaths, they said, two of the victims were from Jammu and one from Kashmir Valley.

Moreover, they said, 249 more Covid-19 patients have recovered and were discharged from various hospitals 123 from Jammu Division and 126 from Kashmir.
