2394 patients recover from Coronavirus infection

Speaking at a news conference on Monday 9 March, the Spokesman Kianoush Jahanpour said there have been 595 new cases of Coronavirus infections in the past 24 hours across the country, as verified by official laboratories, bringing the total number of infections to 7161 cases.

The spokesman also said 2394 patients have fully recovered from the disease, which is great news, thanks to the efforts of the hospital and medical staff. Jahanpour added: “We hope for a continued recovery of patients.”

According to the Health Ministry Spokesman, Tehran province with 1945 cases, Qom with 712 infected people, and Mazandaran with 633 cases of infection are the three provinces most seriously affected by the infection with the largest number of Coronavirus patients.

Jahanpour said 21 infected people passed away in the past 24 hours bringing the total number of fatalities due to Coronavirus infection to 237 people. ( Internationl News Agency )
