Srinagar , Jan 21: it has been the 17th Consecutive Day on Thursday as 250 Kv Transformer developed technical fault and remained defunct again at Wanihama Payeen area of Hazratbal Batpora of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal District.
The residents of the area are continuously reeling under darkness since last 17 Days. Residents blamed that PDD department in Kashmir is only of name and Nothing Else. They added that administration on ground has failed to resolve the crisis faced by common people in each and every aspect.
They appealed Lt Governor Manoj Sinha, PDD Chief Engineer Ajaz Dar and DC Srinagar Shahid Choudhary to Provide Additional 250 Kv transformer to the residents of Wanihama Payeen.
They added that if their demand is not fulfilled by Administration then all the residents of entire Wanihama Payeen of Hazratbal Batpora will Reach Lal Chowk Srinagar and will protest on roads for which administration will be wholly and solely responsible.
Residents lashed out on Administration and said that by keeping the Locality without Electricity for 17 days. They added that it is really unfortunate that administration is silent on their Problem.
Residents appealed Manoj Sinha and higher authorities to Immediately get their demands fullfilled by providing the additional 250 Kv transformer immediately to the Locality by which people will get immediate relief from electricity crisis in Wanihama Payeen of Hazratbal Batpora.
