SRINAGAR 11 Jun : A 26-year-old woman was found dead under mysterious circumstances at her residence in the Gratbal area of Khalmulla in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Thursday, officials said.
Police from Nagbal reached the spot soon after receiving information about the incident and initiated legal proceedings.
The body was shifted to District Hospital Ganderbal for medico-legal examination, while inquest proceedings have been launched to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the death.
Police sources said an investigation has been taken up and the cause of death is yet to be determined. The woman’s identity has not been officially disclosed.
