A woman from Anantnag died of COVID-19 at SMHS Hospital in Srinagar on Friday afternoon.

An official told the news agency that a 28-year-old woman from Anantnag died of COVID-19 after developing complications here at SMHS Hospital Srinagar.

He said that the patient was admitted on 11 January with bilateral pneumonia and had taken first dose of Covid-19 vaccine.

With this, the death toll due to COVID-19 in UT of Jammu and Kashmir stands at 4553—(KNO)
