3 LeT militants including Lateef Bhat trapped in Budgam encounter:Police

Srinagar, Aug 10 : A Gunfight is underway between security forces and militants in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district, police said on Wednesday. 
Police said that a joint team of Police, Army, and CRPF after receiving information about the presence of militants launched a search operation in the area. 
As the joint team of forces intensified searches towards the suspected spot, the terrorists fired at the party, which was retaliated, triggering a gunfight.
 Meanwhile, Kashmir police zone in a tweet said that three terrorists of terror outfit LeT(TRF) including terrorist Lateef Rather trapped in ongoing encounter. 
“Terrorist Lateef is involved in several civilian killings including Rahul Bhat & Amreen Bhat,” it said while quoting ADGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar.
