4 Teachers Suspended In Ganderbal Over Alleged Lapses During Amarnath Yatra Duties

Ganderbal, July 08 : The Chief Education Officer Ganderbal has placed four teachers under suspension with immediate effect over alleged dereliction of duties at Transit Camp Manigam.  

As per an order issued, the copy which lies with states that the action was taken on the communication received from the Nodal Officer, Transit Camp Manigam, Assistant Commissioner Revenue Ganderbal, vide Letter No. TCM/SANJY/2026/173-77 dated 07-07-2026.

The suspended teachers have been identified as Bilal Ahmad Sheikh, son of Mohd Hussain Sheikh, resident of Haripora Kangan; Aabid Mohi-ud-din Bhat, son of Ghulam Mohi-ud-din Bhat, resident of Manigam; Peer Mudasir, son of Abdul Rashid Shah, resident of Wussan; and Gowhar Rashid Kullu, son of Abdul Rashid Kuloo, resident of Gund.  

Officials said the suspension order has been issued pending further inquiry into the matter related to arrangements for the ongoing Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra.
