40 year old Safakadal woman dies of Covid-19, toll reaches 78

A 40-year-old woman hailing from from Safa Kadal area of Srinagar has died of Covid-19 hospital sources said.

Dr Salim Tak, Medical Superintendent CD hospital, said that the woman from Safa Kadal with underlying heart ailment and diabetes died six days after she was admitted to the hospital, one of the exclusive facilities for the management of the covid-19 patients in the Valley.

“She was admitted to SHMS and after testing positive, she was referred to CD hospital on June 14,” he added. (GNS)
