A 42-year old woman died after she was hit by a speedy vehicle in north Kashmir’s Sopore town on Wednesday afternoon.

Officials sources told the news agency that a woman identified as Maisara Begum (42), wife of Abdul Rahim Kumar of Botingoo was critically injured after she was hit by a speedy vehicle in Model town Sopore.

They said that the injured was rushed to Sub District Hospital (SDH) Sopore immediately where doctors declared her dead on arrival.

The officials said that a case has been registered in this regard and the investigation taken up. “We have arrested the driver involved and also his vehicle has been seized,” they added—(KNO)
