55-year-old man killed in hit-and-run accident in Pattan

A 55-year-old man was killed in a hit-and-run accident in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Friday.

Reports reaching said that a man identified as Farooq Ahmad Lone (55) son of Mohammad Ramzan Lone of Zangam Pattan was crushed to death by unknown vehicle. After the accident, the driver fled in the car from the spot.

A police official confirmed to the accident and said that a case has been registered in this regard. “Further investigations are underway,” he added. (GNS)
