7 BSF Jawans test positive for Covid-19 in Handwara: Officials

At least seven jawans of Border Security Force have been found positive for Covid-19 in Handwara town of north Kashmir Kupwara district, official sources said here on Thursday.

Official sources told that 7 BSF Jawans of 57 Battalion located near degree college Handwara have been detected positive for the virus.

They said that all the positive patients have been isolated and were being treated as per the Covid-19 protocol.

The official also said that all the primary and secondary contacts of these positive patients are being isolated and have been asked to follow Covid-19 protocol to avoid further spread of the virus.
