Acute shortage of drinking water in Shalpora Alochibagh Srinagar

Residents of Shalpora Alochibagh of Srinagar on Friday alleged that their areas have been facing acute shortage of potable water.

The residents said that they are without drinking water supply from last many days due to which they are facing various problems.

They said that they are without water supply from last many days and they locals have been compelled to consume water running in the local canals.

“Water supply scheme was functioning normally, however, suddenly our water supply line got disconnected and we have been left without drinking water,” said a villager.

Locals said that they approached the concerned authorities but their assurances have fallen flat on ground.

They locals requested top officials of the concerned departments to look into the issue at an earliest and restore the water supply line so that the people can heave a sigh of relief.
