Jammu, Feb 10 (Kashmir Pen):

Adbi Markaz Kamraz, Jammu & Kashmir, on Tuesday commenced its 46th Annual Conference in Jammu, celebrating linguistic diversity under the theme “Festival of Mother Languages.”

The three-day literary and cultural conference, being held from February 10 to 12, 2026, is taking place at K.L. Sehgal Hall, Writers Club Jammu, and has drawn participation from writers, poets, scholars, linguists and cultural activists from different parts of Jammu & Kashmir.

Speaking on the occasion, organisers said the conference aims to promote linguistic harmony and encourage greater engagement with regional and mother languages, which continue to face challenges in the contemporary digital age.

The conference is being organised in collaboration with Jammu & Kashmir Bank and the Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages.

General Secretary of Adbi Markaz Kamraz, Shabnam Tilgam, extended an invitation to writers, scholars and language lovers to actively participate in the remaining sessions of the conference over the next two days.
