Srinagar | August 31, 2026: The Kashmir Bar Association today announced the appointment of Advocate Benazir as Incharge of the Legal Education Committee of the Association.
The Appointment has been made with a view to further strengthening the institutional framework of the Association and promoting legal education,professional excellence, continuing legal education and academic engagement within the legal fraternity.
The Legal Education Committee,under the charge of Advocate Benazir,will coordinate and facilitate initiatives including legal seminars, professional workshops,academic programmes, continuing legal education activities,legal research and knowledge-sharing programmes for members of the Bar.
Speaking on the occasion, President Kashmir Bar Association, Advocate Haamid Bhat, said that the Association attaches the highest importance to continuous professional development and strengthening the intellectual and academic standards of the legal profession.
The legal profession is founded upon knowledge, competence and continuous learning.The Legal Education Committee will serve as an important institutional platform for strengthening these values within the Bar. I am confident that Advocate Benazir will discharge this responsibility with dedication, professionalism and distinction.
The President further stated that the Association would extend its full institutional support to the Committee and would encourage initiatives aimed at enhancing professional skills, legal awareness, research and contemporary legal understanding among advocates.
The Kashmir Bar Association conveyed its best wishes to Advocate Benazir and expressed confidence that she would make a meaningful contribution towards strengthening legal education and professional standards within the Bar.
