After a lull of around 24 hours, a fresh exchange of fire resumed at the encounter site in the Redwani area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Wednesday.

A police officer told that a fresh exchange of fire resumed after a hiding terrorist fired upon forces when debris was being cleared.

He said that an exchange of fire is going on and further details will be shared later.

Earlier on Tuesday two TRF terrorists including commander Basit Dar who was carrying a bounty of 10 lakh on his head were killed in the same encounter
