Karnah, Jan 17 : The Karnah-Kupwara road Tuesday reopened for vehicular traffic after remaining closed for five days due to heavy snowfall at Sadhna Top, officials said.
Officials told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that vehicles were allowed to ply from Chowkibal towards Karnah after the road reopened for traffic.
This is the only link connecting Karnah with the district headquarters.
They said drivers have been advised to use anti-skid chains to avoid any untoward incident and subject to fair weather, traffic would be allowed from Karnah towards Chowkibal on Wednesday.
