After Handwara, it is now Beerwah village where leopards are creating havoc. Yesternight, a leopard had barged into a house in Handwara village; before it was captured the wild cat injured six persons.

Today, a herd of leopards were seen in Mulshulla village of Beerwah Budgam. People ran away after seeing 3 to 4 leopards in the village roaming here and there.

“We made many calls to Wild Life Department but there was no response from them. We are worried about people especially children,” Irshad Ahmed, a local told KNT.
