Age relaxation proposal moved to Raj Bhawan after CM’s approval: Tanvir Sadiq

Chief Spokesperson of Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Tanvir Sadiq on Tuesday said the age relaxation proposal has moved to Raj Bhawan for consent after approval by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah.

He said the Chief Minister Office Secretariat confirmed the clearance and sent the file forward.

He said the party will wait for the response from Raj Bhawan before the next step.

Taking to X, he posted that the @officeofcmjk Secretariat has confirmed to him that Chief Minister @omar_abdullah_jk Sb has approved and forwarded the age relaxation.

The proposal has now been sent to Raj Bhawan for its consent.

Earlier today, JKAS aspirants urged the Jammu and Kashmir Government to resolve the matter at the earliest. They said despite repeated verbal assurances from top officials, including the Chief Minister and senior bureaucrats over the past several months, they have been waiting.(KNS)
