Srinagar, Sep 25 : All Sikh Minority Employees Association Jammu and Kashmir held a mega programme today at Shaheed Bunga Sahib Gurdwara, Baghat Barzulla.The meet started with prayers for entire Sikh world and humanity at large. Jugmeet Kaur Bali President All Sikh Minority Employees Association Jammu and Kashmir affirmed that Government of Jammu and Kashmir has taken up seriously the issues of Sikh community and also Employees. She hoped that rampant unemployment and rising economic woes among Sikh community in Jammu and Kashmir would be tackled effectively. Jugmeet Kaur Bali observed that still the issues of feasible Posting , security concerns remains with reference to the Sikh Employees of Jammu and Kashmir. Glowing tributes and prayers were held for Gurmeet Singh, a 59-year-old Government Engineer with the Roads and Building Department of Jammu Kashmir who died mysteriously few weeks back , hoping that Government will reach to the bottom of the case. All Sikh Minority Employees Association Jammu and Kashmir expressed also satisfaction over the recent meet with Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, calling the Administration and Government attitude very positive .
Those who participated in the auspicious Conclave included Premjit Singh, General Secretary, Balbir Singh Vice President, Manjit Singh Treasurer and eminent members Sukhbir Singh, Media secretary Rivinder Pal Singh , Manjit kour , Rumeet kour, Rajinder kour and Satnam Singh participated. All Sikh Minority Employees Association Jammu and Kashmir vowed to raise the issues of not just Sikh Employees but Sikh community in a compact manner.
