Amarnath Yatra : Man dies after falling off a horse

A horseman ferrying Amarnath Yatris died on Thursday when he fell off a horse between the holy cave and Panjtarni.

Official sources identified the victim as Imtiyaz Ahmed Khan son of Muhammad Yousuf Khan, a resident of Chakilpora Shangus Nowgam area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.

The horseman was on his way from holy to Panjtarni.

Sources told news agency that due to slippery conditions, his horse slipped and he fell off it, resulting in his death.
