Government forces on Monday night detained five persons during a raid in Botengoo village following a brief shootout in which seven Amarnath pilgrims were killed and nineteen others injured.
Reports said that forces raided several houses during the night and detained five persons, including a student of Army Goodwill School.

The raids were carried couple of hours after the attack on forces in the village located on Srinagar-Jammu highway.
Police has said that a bus carrying pilgrims was caught in crossfire, resulting into seven death and injuries to nineteen pilgrims.
