Anantnag, May 18: Continuing its intensified campaign against narcotics trafficking, Anantnag Police on Monday attached immovable property worth nearly ₹1.10 crore under Section 68(F) of the NDPS Act in a major action against the drug network operating in the district.

The action was carried out by Police Station Srigufwara in connection with FIR No. 54/2025 registered under relevant provisions of the NDPS Act.

Police said the property was identified as illegally acquired through proceeds generated from narcotics trafficking and was attached after following all legal formalities under the law.

Reiterating its commitment to eradicate the drug menace, Anantnag Police said it will continue strict action against individuals involved in narcotics smuggling and also target assets and financial networks created through illegal drug trade.
