Awai National Conference Sr Vice President Muzzafar shah has strongly condemned the gruesome & dastardly killings of two school teachers in the Eidgah area of Srinagar city.
Shah said that the Broad daylight random killings of citizens at any chosen point by the unknown killers speaks volumes on the ground situation in Kashmir & it is shameful that lives of the citizens are no longer safe in the hands of the powers that be.
“Killing of innocent civilians does not reflect to the frustration & barbarism of the unknown killers, as stated by senior officials, but definitely reflects to the collapse of the law & order machinery of the state as well as the central apparatus”, shah added.
Mr Shah further stated that a huge attempt in creating a further communal divide in the already fragile situation existing on the ground in kashmir cannot be allowed to succeed. The Govt Of India & the State Govt must answer the people of J&k for their abject failure in controlling the law & order.
‘’What is the need of lacs of paramilitary & local police on the ground when the unknown can kill at random & that to at any place of their choice along with the choice of their target, questioned ANC Sr Vp?
The ANC President Begum Khalida Shah, the rank & file of ANC stands shoulder to shoulder alongside the families of the deceased in this hour of crisis & pray for eternal peace of the deceased. May Almighty give courage to their families in bearing this irreparable loss, statement reads.
