Awami National Conference (ANC) has extended warmest greetings to the people, especially to the Muslim community on the auspicious occasion of Jumat-ul-Vida..

In a message, ANC President Begum Khalida Shah and Senior Vice President Muzzafar Shah appealed to people to pray for sustainable peace and tranquility in Jammu and Kashmir.

“On this sacred day, they extend deepest greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir. Jumat-ul-Vida has extraordinary significance and great spiritual importance for Muslims all over the world. May Allah (SWT) accept our fasts and may he fulfill our just aspirations and prayers. Ameen.”they said in the statement. “May this revered occasion be a harbinger of peace, harmony, and prosperity for the people of J&K, and may Almighty Allah bestow His choicest blessings upon us.”

They urged the administration to ensure adequate facilities and availability of public transport to facilitate hassle-free movement of people to major congregational places today.

ANC appealed to the Muslims of Jammu and Kashmir to pray for the peace and prosperity of this land on this revered occasion.
