Srinagar October 8 : ANC President Begum Khalida Shah and Senior VP Muzzafar Shah greeted people on the eve of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi (SAW).

In their message on the accupious occasion, both the leaders said the Prophet Mohammed (SAW) taught lessons of compassion, mercy, tolerance and brotherhood to humanity-all of which need to be vigorously inculcated in today’s strife infested world.

They said that amongst all the great gifts bestowed upon mankind by Allah, the birth of the Prophet Mohammed (SAW) was the greatest and the kindest one. “Almighty Allah sent the Prophet Mohammed (SAW) as Rehmatan-lil-Aalmeen (mercy to mankind).

People irrespective of caste colour and religion can seek guidance from the holy Prophet’s (SAW) teachings as he had tremendous love for humanity in general and compassion for the poor and needy in particular.

Both leaders prayed to Almighty Allah to reignite peoples’ hearts and souls with the love of the Prophet Mohammed (SAW) of Islam.

ANC president Begum Khalid Shah and Senior VP Muzzafar Shah asked people let us prayers for end of bloodshed and return of peace with honor and dignity to Jammu & Kashmir.
