We lost a true son of the soil : Begum Khalida Shah

JK ANC President Begum Khalida Shah & Sr Vice President Muzzafar Shah express heartfelt condolences on the passing away of prominent journalist & owner of daily Srinagar News Jenab Mehraj Din Wani & pray to the AlMighty for Jannat ul Firdous to the departed soul & strength to the family in bearing this irreparable loss. In a message to his son Iqbal Wani, the ANC President said that we have lost a great son of the soil & a thorough professional & a thorough gentleman who with his sheer determination & strong will made the daily Srinagar News a household newspaper of kashmir. Late Mehraj ud Din shared a very close association with late Shere kashmir & late GM Shah. It is a sad moment for all of us & we also convey our condolences to the entire staff of the Srinagar News. The passing away of Mehraj ud Din is a huge loss to the journalism in kashmir, Begum Khalida Shah said.

The ANC general secretary Md Shafi Mir, Provincial President kashmir Rahi Riyaz Ahmad, Provincial President Jammu Sardar Gyan Singh, Sr leaders Iftikhar Bandey, Kewal Sharma, Nazir Pandit, Md Sultan Bhat, Shabir Ahmad Mir, Gh Mohiudin Bhat, Shabir Ahmad Paddar, Md Ismail Maam, Abdul Ahad Khimber, Mohd Shafi Khan have also expressed deepest condolences to Iqbal Wani & family on the demise of Mehraj ud Din Wani Sahib. It is a great loss to us all. May he Rest in Peace.
