ANC leadership shocked over unabated killings in Kashmir Valley. Law enforcing apparatus fails in protecting its citizens:

The J&K Awami National Conference President Begum Khalida Shah and Sr. Vice President Muzzafar Shah have expressed their heartfelt condolences to the family of Vijay Kumar from Rajasthan posted as Manager Elaqai Dehati bank at Kulgam who was shot dead by unknown gunmen at Kulgam today.

The ANC President Begum Khalida Shah and Sr VP Mr Muzzafar Shah has termed this act as dastardly & an henious crime against the society which adds to the long list of recent killings of our brothers & sisters leaving their families shattered for ever.

Mr Shah further stated that our law enforcement agencies have miserably failed in combating this menace of the unidentified gunman who can target any individual at any given time & at the place of their choosing.

The LG administration & the Union Home Ministry are directly answerable to the families of these victims & the people of J&K for failing in their duties to protect the lives of their citizens. The cold blooded murder of Vijay Kumar is 17 th in a row since January 2022 in the kashmir valley,Mr Shah said.

The ANC senior leaders & central office bearers from Jammu & Kashmir Mr Mohd Shafi Mir, Mr Amanullah Kant, Mr Rahi Riyaz Ahmad, Mr Mohd Yousuf Shayar, Mr Iftikhar Bandey, Mr Gul Rafique, Sardar Gyan Singh, Mr Kewal Sharma, Mr Satish Koul, Mr Rakesh Dogra, Ms Prince Bhat, Mr Deen Mohd Wani, Mr Mohd Sultan Bhat, Mr Nazir Ahmad Pandit, Mr Sajad Ahmad Dar, Mr G M Wathooti, Mr Raja Iftikhar Ahmad, Mr Mohd Shafi Khan,Mr Gh Mohiudin , Mr Shabir Ahmad Paddar, Mr Shabir Ahmad Mir have demanded foolproof protection for all vulnerable individuals from the state & the central apparatus in control of the law & order in the valley. Terming these constantly recurring cold blooded murders inspite of the tall claims of normalcy, the governments in J&K & New Delhi are answerable to the people of J&K as well as the entire country for their abject failure in the state of affairs in J&K.

The ANC leaders have appealed for all stakeholders to come forward & introspect the ongoing turmoil in the valley shunning aside their respective political baggage & draw up a plan for coming out of this crisis.
