SRINAGAR 19 October: ANC President Begum Khalida Shah and Sr.VP Muzzafar Shah have condemned the allegedly custodial killing of Imran Bashir Ganai of Harman Shopian and demanded immediate arrests & credible probe into this gruesome inhuman incident.
It is shocking to hear the killing of a youth in “Police Custody” at Shopian. Those behind the incident should not get away without an impartial probe. ANC demands immediate suspension of entire police post right upto the SP’s and Dysp’s of that area and all other people involved in this custodial killing. Exemplary punishment must be given to all those involved.
We are demanding from LG Shri Manoj Sinha and Director General of Police to take stern action so that such incidents don’t happen in future. We express our commiseration with the deceased’s family.
