Srinagar, Oct 7 : Anjuman Auqaf Jama Masjid Srinagar on behalf of Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir Muhammad Umar Farooq and the Anjuman greeted the Muslims Ummah on the occasion of the blessed birth of the Last Messenger Prophet Muhammad (SAW).

From His (SAW) birth to the present day, the teachings of the Holy Prophet (SAW)  guide mankind without discrimination, and until the Day of Judgment, the blessings of the Prophet (SAW) will continue to guide humanity.
The Anjuman urged the Muslims to make a commitment to follow the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) wholeheartedly  to lead a fruitful and beneficial life and a earn the goodwill of Allah in the hereafter.
“Meanwhile, Anjuman has expressed deep sorrow that even in the blessed and holy month of Rabi-ul-Awwal, its Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, who is also the top-most religious leader of Jammu and Kashmir, continues to be under arbitrary detention, and the restrictions on his activities as Mirwaiz continue which is not only interference in religious affairs of muslims but a serious violation of his basic human rights,” statement reads.
The Anjuman said that due to the continued detention of Mirwaiz for the last 38 months, the sentiments of the Muslims of Kashmir, especially the people who come to the historic Central Jama Masjid Srinagar to listen to Qaal Allah Wa Qaala Rasool (SAW), are being insensitivity hurt.
