Srinagar, June 23 CNS: Anjuman Shari Shian observed Youm-i-Qudas and Youm-i-Kashmir to condemn the continuous occupation of Israel in Palestine and India in Kashmir.
President J&K Anjuman-e-Sharie Shian and senior separatist leader Aga Syed Hassan Almosavi Alsafvi addressed a massive gathering in connection with Youm-e-Qudus here in central Kashmir.
Thousands of people joined the “Youm-ul-Quds and “Youm-e-Kashmir” rallies at Central Imam Bara Budgam headed by Aga Syed Hassan Almosavi Alsafvi. Processions were also carried out at Imambara Hasanabad Srinagar, Jamia Masjid Magam, Jamia Masjid Ghamdu Sonawari, Jamia Masjid Sonapa Beerwah, Shrine Mir Shamsuddin Iraqi Chadoora, Jamia Masjid Inderkoot, Imambara Chaatargam, Jamia Masjid Nowgam Sumbal, Jamia Masjid Sooth Katarbagh, Imambara Khrewan Pulwama and Imambara Sofipora Pahalgam.
The participants were holding placards in their hands that displayed the quotes in support of Palestine, Yemen, Iraq, Syria, Bahrain, Kashmir and anti US-Israel slogans were written.
While addressing the gathering Aga Syed Hassan Almosavi Alsafvi said that Israel is not a state in the Middle East but an American armory to scare Arab world. For the protection of Israel, US is bent to destroy those thoughts who being considered threat for Israel. He expressed complete solidarity with the oppressed the world over, they strongly condemned Israeli occupation of Al-Quds Al-Shari. He alleged that India has been pursuing policies of Israel to change the Muslim demographic character of the state. India and Israel are following the same policies to curb and suppress the Muslim of Palestine and Kashmir.
He lauded the role of Pakistan and prayed tribute to militants who lost their lives in different gunfights with Indian troopers across Kashmir Valley.
He said that people of Kashmir will never allow the society to get divided on sectarian lines. He said that Kashmir freedom struggle will continue till it is taken to logical conclusion.
Castigating government for resorting to arrests, raids, killings, house arrests, ransacking, curfew and restrictions, Aga Hasan appealed human rights organizations to take note of Indian brutalities in Kashmir.
He castigated the Behrin Government for assaulting religious preacher Sheikh Eisa Qasim and said that such tactics can’t break the resolve of the people of Behrin. He termed the lynching of police officer unfortunate and said that such incidents could prove counterproductive for the ongoing freedom struggle. (CNS)
