A 45 years old man died of cardiac arrest in Rahmoo area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Thursday Morning.

An official told that old man has been identified as Abdul Gani Dar (45), son of Ghulam Ahmad Dar of Rahmoo Pulwama, fell unconscious at his home.

He said Abdul Gani was immediately shifted to District Hospital Pulwama where doctors declared him dead on arrival. The body of the deceased was handed over to family members for last rites after completing legal formalities, the official said.

Meanwhile, the total number of deaths reported due to cardiac arrest in the Valley has reached to 24 in the last 15 days

A health official from District Hospital Pulwama also confirmed the incident
