Another militant killed in Kulgam gunfight; toll 3 : police

A third militant has been killed in the gunfight with security forces in Chimmar area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Wednesday, police said.

The gunfight broke out this afternoon after police and security forces cordoned the area following a tip off about the presence of militants there.

In the ensuing encounter, three unidentified militants have been killed, a police spokesperson tweeted adding searches are going on at the site of encounter.
