Srinagar, Dec 16 (KNC): Security forces recovered arms, ammunition and other incriminating material from a graveyard in the Tar Natipora area of Srinagar during a late-night operation, sources said on Tuesday.

Police sources told news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC that a joint team of security forces conducted the recovery during the intervening night of Monday and Tueaday in connection with the investigation of FIR No. 119/2025 registered under Section 13 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act at Police Station Bemina.

During the search operation, the team recovered one Chinese hand grenade, around 100 grams of gunpowder, ten live rounds of AK-47 ammunition and nearly twenty posters from the graveyard, the sources said.

The recovery was made in the presence of concerned officials, and all seized items have been taken into custody for further examination. Further investigation into the matter is underway, sources added. (KNC)
