An army man was injured in an accidental fire in Pharkiyan Gali in Kupwara, officials said on Monday afternoon.

They told that Sepoy Gurpej Singh, 24, of 6 Rashtriya Rifles was injured after getting hit in his right foot during post duty at 268 Infantry Brigade.

The soldier, they said, was taken to 168 Military Hospital Drugmulla for treatment and is however said to be stable. (GNS)
