“Article 35A and 370 have been deeply buried in the dust-pit of history. In case anyone tries to hoodwink the opinion of the public in this regard, he or she is simply killing time. No one in the UT of Jammu and Kashmir is now going to be lured by the narrative of the so-called special status or facade of pride in this regard. Enough is really enough”, said Ashwani Kumar Chrungoo, senior BJP and Kashmiri Pandit leader and Incharge Deptt of Political Affairs and Feedback, J&K-BJP.
Those who have been harping in the name of Gupkar-Circus are actually cut from both the ground realities and the general public. Their hot and cold responses after their release from detention speak about their psychological status regarding their political future. They are more worried about their perks, seats of power and threat of investigations into scams than about the 370 and 35A. They know it categorically that the abolished articles can’t be revived in any case by any institution in the country.
Chrungoo, who is currently on a one-week tour of the Kashmir valley was speaking to the people at Qazigund while on his way to the Vessue Pandit township. He also visited Taragam village in Dooru along with Vijay Raina, Sarpanch-Chowgam. It is the same place where the cremation ground of Hindus was illegally sold by some unscrupulous elements in the village and which was later got retrieved and mutated in the revenue records with the active help and intervention of the divisional civil and police administration. ‘KP Helping Hands’, a voluntary body took responsibility of fencing the whole demarcated area with the iron barbed wire urgently in collaboration with the respective revenue authorities.
Chrungoo also visited the Vessu township and took stock of the quarters under construction there for the PM package employees. Vijay Raina briefed him about the whole issue.
