Srinagar, Oct 21: In an emotional announcement, ace cricketer Parvez Rasool has declared his retirement from professional cricket, marking the end of a remarkable career that saw him rise from the local grounds of Jammu & Kashmir to representing India on the international stage.
Sharing his decision on social media, Rasool expressed deep gratitude to Allah, his family, coaches, teammates, and fans for their unwavering support throughout his journey. “It’s been an incredible journey—one filled with dreams, hard work, joy, and countless memories that I will cherish forever. From local grounds to representing my team and my country, in cricket Allah has given me everything I ever wished for,” he said.
He also extended heartfelt thanks to the Jammu & Kashmir Sports Council and the Government of J&K for their consistent guidance and encouragement over the years.
